All about
Centre Stage
Whether learning for fun, to improve self confidence, meet new friends or to fulfil a burning desire to perform; we offer lessons to suit the complete beginner, challenge the more experienced or prepare and train those students with aspirations of a professional career.
Both CS and YCS classes deliver enjoyable, creative challenges for all ages and skill levels within the diverse world of performing arts and offer a number of both internal and external performance opportunities across all three disciplines.

All classes are structured to suit the student’s age, abilities and ambition and take place on Saturdays
during term time at St. Monica’s Primary School in Southgate.
School Ethos
Centre Stage offers high quality performing arts training within a warm and compassionate teaching environment.
It is our goal to enhance student’s understanding of the arts, expand performance ability and increase self confidence through personal development.
The objective of all staff at the school is to provide innovative and creative teaching without discrimination or favouritism.
Community spirit is at the heart of Centre Stage and this is reflected in the importance we place on students displaying mutual respect and support towards their tutors and each other.
A message from the Principal
"Welcome to Centre Stage School of Performing Arts.

This year Centre Stage celebrates it's 26th year as an independent Performing Arts School. The staff at Centre Stage continue to extend the same warm welcome to our students and their families as they did on the day we first opened our doors, and we are proud to continue a teaching tradition which has been instrumental in the personal development of so many talented young people.

Every student that joins Centre Stage is an important member of our extended family; a family that, as well as offering exceptional coaching in all aspects of performing arts, also provides support, friendship and the life skills that build confidence and help students grow into well-rounded, self-assured individuals.

No matter how large or small the goal, at Centre Stage we encourage our students to believe in themselves and develop the confidence to pursue their ambitions.

Taught in a supportive, fun and creative environment, the disciplines of acting, singing and dance bring young people together in a vibrant and joyous community to explore the magical world of performance."
